Elizabeth King

Elizabeth A. "Liz" King, 91, of Marysville, died Friday, March 1, 2013.

She was born August 15, 1921 in to Nowata, Oklahoma to the late H. Ross and Elizabeth Campbell. She married William Ross King on February 20, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1987.

Mrs. King was employed in retail advertising at the Times Herald prior to her retirement. She was an extremely community minded person who volunteered with the American Red Cross, Port Huron Town Hall and on behalf of veterans. She was a member of Quota Club, was an avid bridge player and enjoyed many cultural and art activities in the area.

She is survived by a son, James (Ann) King of Overland Park, Kansas; six grandchildren, Jamie (Teri) King, Theresa (Matthew) Bohm, Christina King, Anna Marie King, Stephen King and Mary Grace; and four great grandchildren, Anthony Bohm, Carter Bohm, Kaylee Bohm and Jackson King. She was preceded in death by her son, William Ross King, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Grace Episcopal Church. The Reverend Dr. Lydia Agnew Speller will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium.

Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church Organ Fund. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
