Shirley I. Bright, 78, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
She was born November 30, 1934 in Deckerville to the late Amasa and Lillian Heath. She married Robert Bright on October 23, 1954 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Bright worked in computer programming at Women's Life until her retirement in 2000. She was a loving wife and her children and grandchildren were the focus of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert; two daughters, Cheryl (Gary) London and Terri (Stephen) Gordon; five grandchildren, Robert (Janey) London, Kimberly London, Kristal London, Stephen (Nicole) Gordon and Matthew Gordon and fiancée Christine Fredendall; two great grandchildren, Braden London and Isabella Fletcher; three sisters, Jean (Lee) Brown, Doris (Ralph) Moeller and Carol Klossner; a brother, George (Gail) Innis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-7:30 p.m. with a service following at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
