Genevieve Dorothy Armstrong, 92, of Fort Gratiot, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.
She was born December 22, 1920 in St. Clair to the late Wellington "Duke" and Gladys Arnold. She married Lawrence Armstrong Sr. on October 26, 1940 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He died December 12, 2002.
Mrs. Armstrong was a bus driver for Port Huron Area School prior to her retirement. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and painting.
She is survived by four children, Marie Jacobs, Nancy (Gary) Wagner, Lawrence (Sue) Armstrong Jr. and Judy (Jeff) Alderdyce; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Robert) Stumpf; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Carolyn Koch and Margaret Dusellier.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Scott Babin will officiate.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
