Donna Fogal
Donna Lucille Fogal, 86, of Port Huron, died Friday, April 12, 2013.
She was born May 2, 1926 in Port Huron to the late William Albert and Alexandra Willey. She married Benjamin Fogal on June 19, 1948 in Port Huron. He died November 28, 1993.
Mrs. Fogal was a medical assistant with William T. Davison, M.D for many years and was a Past President of the Michigan State Medical Assistants Society. She graduated from Port Huron High School in 1943. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, B.P.O.E. Lodge #343 and Beta Sigma Phi, Beta Alpha Chapter. She enjoyed golf, bowling, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jack) Cheney; her son, James (Dana) Fogal; six grandchildren, Janet (Matthew) Gangwer, Jeffrey (Ashley) Fogal, Matthew Fogal and fiancé, Sarah Schwedler; William (Debbie) Doan, Gregory (Stephanie) Doan and Michael Cheney and fiancé, Jana Jobbit; six great grandchildren, Caleb Gangwer, Vern Rich and Angel, Nathan, Austin and Mareena Doan; a great great grandson, Austin Rich; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 in First United Methodist Church. The Reverend William Wright will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
