Preston J. Coon, 73, of Marysville, died Saturday, April 13, 2013.
He was born November 2, 1939 in Sandusky to the late Preston and Vivian Coon. He married Eleanor Beeler on August 12, 1961 in Port Huron
Mr. Coon retired from SEMCO Energy. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and enjoyed woodworking and duck carving.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; two children, Kelly Adolph and David (Janette) Coon; three grandchildren, Michelle (Ernie) Lozano, Nicholas and Madeline Coon; a great granddaughter, Gabrielle Lozano; a brother, Milton (Sue) Coon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jay and a brother, Dale Coon.
Visitation will be 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Barbara E. Welbaum will offiate. Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
