Edward Lee Kolman, 82, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, April 21, 2013.
He was born July 10, 1930 in Goodells to the late Lee Miles and Grace Elizabeth Kolman. He married Myrtle L. Carpenter on July 2, 1955 in Port Huron. She died January 3, 2011.
Mr. Kolman was employed with Detroit Edison prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by a brother, Donald (Janet) Kolman of Warren; a sister, Betty Furstenau of Goldsboro, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin L. Kolman; brother and sister-in-law, William & Peggy Kolman; an infant brother, Raymond; and an infant sister, Nancy.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Elder William Anderson of Wadhams Grove Community of Christ will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force.
