Michael Lee Murawski, 57, of Fort Gratiot, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 29, 2013.
He was born September 7, 1955 in Port Huron to Clarence and Lucille Murawski. He married Karen Young on September 7, 2001. She died December 14, 2006.
Mr. Murawski was a cashier with Kroger for over 20 years. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He was Vice President of the March of Dimes Auxiliary and was an avid bowler who enjoyed bowling on Tuesday nights with his son. He was a great father and enjoyed making people laugh and have fun.
He is survived by three children, April Murawski, Michael Murawski (Dennis Cooper) and Melissa Monzo; his girlfriend, Joann Mathews; two grandchildren, Jayson and Axl; his mother, Lucille Murawski; a brother, Tim (Liz) Murawski; sister-in-law, Cathy Murawski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence "Butch" Murawski.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Our Saviour Lutheran Church. The Reverend Donald R. Doerzbacher will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Miller, George Main, Joe Main, Rob Kelly, T.J. Murawski, Jason Ashton, Axl Tidwell and Bill Fogerty. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
