Margaret L DeWitt
Margaret L. DeWitt, 89, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
She was born February 4, 1924 in Blaine to the late John and Edna Easton. She married Ray E. DeWitt on November 1, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana. He died July 18, 1994.
Mrs. DeWitt loved knitting, crocheting, cooking, canning and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. DeWitt is survived by five daughters, Jackie (Bobby) Berkley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ferne Orr and Judy Logan of Port Huron, Cheryl (David) Norris of Fort Gratiot and Margaret (Robert) Black of Troy; three sons, Dennis (Yvonne) DeWitt of Port Huron, Cecil (Melanie) DeWitt of Lakewood, Colorado and Thomas (Kathy) DeWitt of Fort Gratiot; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; a niece, Cindy (Chris) Sellers of Wheaton, Illinois; and a nephew, John Kusterer of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward John DeWitt on October 3, 1973 and her sister, Jessie Kusterer in 1974.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Robert H. Mann will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sarah Bennett, Randy and Ryan Logan, Roy, Edward and Shawn DeWitt, Robert Black and Jeremy Akred.
