Doreen E. Gould, 64, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
She was born August 4, 1948 in Port Huron to the late Ezra and Frances Fye.
Doreen enjoyed crafts, working in her yard, visiting with family, friends and neighbors and spending time with her daughter and son. She especially enjoyed playing with her grandchildren; working on puzzles with Blake, cooking and dancing in the kitchen with Alyssa, and drawing and artwork with Denton.
She is survived by Bryan Strangway; a son, Leland (Becky) Gould; a daughter, Trista Gould (Brad Altenbernt); grandchildren, Alyssa and Denton Gould and Blake Altenbernt; step grandchildren, Samantha, Brittney and Mathew Phillips; two brothers, Ezra (Tammy) Fye and Wayne Fye; a sister, Edith (Leland) Purkiss; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ann Verlinde, Patricia Friedland and Margaret Hurd; and a brother, Charles Fye.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel S. Bakay will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hunter Hospitality House or the wishes of the family.
