Marilyn Elizabeth Quigly, 90, of Marysville, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
She was born April 8, 1923 in Port Huron to the late Minow and Lillian Dennis. She married Phillip J. Quigly on October 1, 1949 in Detroit. He died October 5, 1995.
Mrs. Quigly was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and F.O.E. #3690 in Caseville. She enjoyed crafts and has listened to over 800 books on tape.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Stewart of Ferndale, Sharon (Dan) Roach of Leesburg, Florida and Nancy (Karl) Welsch of Lenox; a son, Dennis (Susan) Quigly of Memphis; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Quigly; and a brother, Eugene Dennis. She will be missed and remembered by many dear friends and family.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Quigly will lie in state from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 111 W. Long Lake Road, Troy, MI 48098
