Leta Agnes Orlikowski, 88, of Marysville died July 28, 2013.
She was born September 8, 1924 in Hadley, Michigan to the late Fred and Alice Thiemkey. She married Chester Orlikowski in August 1969 in Farmington. He preceded her in death in 1977.
Mrs. Orlikowski served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She worked in the office at Ford Motor Company, then at Grayling State Bank and finally as a leasing agent at Aspen Grove Apartments. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #158 and Marysville American Legion post 449. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre.
Mrs. Orlikowski is survived by her two daughters, Mary Jane Eshelman of Marysville and Suzanne Buettner of Brighton; two sons, Gerald (Barbara) of Savannah, Georgia and Thomas (Deanna) of Glendale, Arizona; three grandchildren, James (Melissa) Buettner, Julia (John) Edwards and Jeffery (Wendy) Buettner; ten great grandchildren; brother, Fred (Helen) Thiemkey Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Freda Farrier, Florence Church, Ada Taylor and Edla Ackerman; and her brother, Charles Thiemkey.
