Mary Louise Dupree, 82, of Burtchville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Medilodge Yale with her husband at her side.
She was born November 21, 1930 to the late Harry and Mary Cameron. She married Vernon “Ike” Dupree on October 24, 1953 in Gratiot Park United Methodist Church.
Mary was a graduate of Marysville High School. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, reading and camping.
She was a loving wife to Ike for almost 60 years, a wonderful mother to her two children and a loving grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters.
Mary is survived by her husband, Vernon “Ike”; son, David (Joni) of Wyoming, MN; daughter, Julie Coffelt of Jeddo; granddaughters, Emily and Rachael Dupree and Amanda Coffelt; sister, Patricia Williamson of Kimball; sisters-in-law, Darlene VanHose and Wanda Dupree, both of Burtchville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Flanders.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10am Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the funeral home. Rev. Robert Chapman of Gratiot Park United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Caswell Cemetery.
