Valerie A Mancevich

November 11th, 1933 to September 2nd, 2013

Valerie Ann Mancevich, of Burtchville Township, passed on Monday, September 2, 2013.

She was born November 11, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Frederick and Marguerite Putze.

Valerie graduated from Marysville High School in 1951. She retired from Chrysler Corporation - Center Line after 35 years of service, and was a member of the Thursday Belles Euchre Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Carl Laesser) Mancevich of Port Huron, Carol Ann (Keith) Henderson of Warren, and Rebecca (Charles) Moses of Clyde; five grandchildren, Raychel Tringali, Matthew Henderson, Charlie Moses, Ariel Moses and Lincoln Moses; two brothers, Fred Putze of Marysville and Wilfred Putze of Port Huron; three sisters, Viola Odle of Marysville, Marie Odle of Port Huron and Dorothy (Dave) Alexander of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Putze.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Inurnment will follow in the Riverlawn Columbarium in Marysville.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Blue Water Hospice.
