William R Novar

April 21st, 1943 to September 9th, 2013

William Roy Novar, 70, of Kimball Township, died Monday, September 9, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born April 21, 1943 in Port Huron to the late William L. and Josephine Novar. Mr. Novar owned and operated both General Roofing and Siding and Port Huron Fence before his retirement in 2006. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Marysville Post #449. In his younger years, Bill was an avid boater.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen (David) Seghi; grandchildren, Joseph and Christina Seghi; sister, Patricia (Derald) Van Camp; three nephews, Victor (Mary) Van Camp, Jeffery (Angie) Van Camp, and Michael (Carrie) Van Camp; and several cousins and great nephews.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. on Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Paul R. Calcaterra will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.

Burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
