Marie Beatrice Walker, 83, of Clyde Township, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
She was born April 26, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Herman and Alice Scheffler. She married Herbert Walker on November 2, 1960. He died February 14, 1966.
Mrs. Walker retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years of service. She lived in Roseville until 1999, when she moved to Clyde Township to be near her family. She enjoyed spending time with family, feeding and watching the birds, playing the lottery and putting puzzles together.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Senyk; two sisters, Lillian (Robert) Johnston and Dorothy (Clarence) Lautner; a sister-in-law, Roberta Scheffler; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, David Senyk; a sister, Phyllis Torrey; a brother, Robert Scheffler; stepmother, Hazel Scheffler; stepfather, Kenneth Gothup; and a special friend, Billie Willhite.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Smith of Westhaven Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven and Scott Walker, David Tanton, Larry Scheffler, Jason Todd and Bill Schiffelbine. Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Lautner and Robert Johnston.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
