Margaret Ruth Hart, 84, of Kimball Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 30, 2013.
She was born May 4, 1929 in Port Huron to the late Otto and Alice Domann. She married Leroy L. Hart on June 27, 1953 in Port Huron.
Margaret was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed their wonderful family vacations. She was a longtime member and belonged to the Ladies Aid group at Sturges Memorial Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy; two daughters, Karen (Larry) Leslie of Fort Gratiot and Barbara Shappee of Kimball Township; a son, Michael Hart of Lewiston; six grandchildren, Brandy Mason, Holly (Shane) Dressler, Daniel Hart, Jessica Shappee, Andrew Hart, and Laura Leslie; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur (Donna) Doman of Kimball Township and Walter Domann of Arizona; three sisters-in-law, Donna Domann of North Carolina, Hazel Spencer of Pennsylvania, and Dorothy Teeple of Kimball Township; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hill; and a brother, Alfred Domann.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Rob Harrell of Sturges Memorial Congregational Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
