Jerome A Path

Jerome Andrew “Jerry” Path, 89, of St. Clair Township, died Thursday, October 3, 2013.

He was born December 2, 1923 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin to the late Michael and Marie Path. He married Phyllis Chambers on March 3, 1945 in England. She died August 15, 2011.

Mr. Path was a heat welder with Grand Trunk Western Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed traveling, especially trips to England, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by three children, Terry (Larry) Harrington, Stephen (Vicky) Path and Roger (Colleen) Path; eight grandchildren, Dave (Kelly) Harrington, Linda Ziolkowski, Kathy (Kelley) Voight, Bob (Beth) Harrington, Mike (Margaret) Path, Gary (Rhonda) Path, Madge (Kevin) Adascheck and Holly Path; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Mr. Path will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council. Pallbearers will be Dave and Bob Harrington, Kelley Voight and Mike and Gary Path.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church.
