Thomas F. Walton, 93, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Harrington Inn, his home for the past several years.

He was born November 2, 1919 in Detroit to the late Edward and Jennie Walton. He married Betty Jean Meyer on August 4, 1962 in Port Huron. She died January 12, 2012.

Mr. Walton was employed with Detroit Edison for over 25 years. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and sailed the Great Lakes. He was a member of Pine Grove Lodge #11 F. & A.M.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen (William) Sweet of Marine City; a son, Richard (Gloria) Davidson of China Township; grandchildren, Patrick (Christa) Sweet, Brian (Jill) Sweet, Travis Davidson, Michael Davidson, Tad Davidson, Kyle (DeNay) Davidson and Katelind Davidson; and three great grandchildren, Kennedy, Victor, and Maverick. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Davidson; and a grandson, Kerre Sweet.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Chaplain Anthony Ferriell will officiate

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Harrington Inn Activity Fund.
