Michaeleen Rene Northrop, 61, of Kimball Township, died Sunday, March 30, 2014.
She was born February 17, 1953 in Sandusky to the late Harold and Mary Hillock. She married Joseph Balcuns on October 15, 1974. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1994. She then married Blaine Northrop on January 9, 1998.
Mrs. Northrop loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing with her dogs, Lucy and Finnegan and her “granddogs”.
She is survived by her husband, Blaine; children, Karrie (Christopher) Friend and Tim Balcuns; step daughters, Jacquelyn Wilkins and Teri Dean; grandchildren, Izabell and Mackenzie Friend, Clayton Gilbert, Daniel and Serene Wilkins, Breiann Hatt, and Shelby, Sabana, and James Dean; a great granddaughter, Kaylee; and sister, Shelly (James) Sheldon.
Visitation will be from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Marysville Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
