John A Young
John Addison Young, 80, of Marysville, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
He was born May 15, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Ralph and Jennie Young.
Mr. Young was employed with St. Clair Rubber Company for 28 years. He owned and operated Young’s Ceramics and Young’s Adult Foster Care in Marysville and most recently was an insurance agent with AFLAC. He was a U.S. Army veteran, coached baseball and hockey and was a devoted grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Charles Rogers, Scott (Lynne) Rogers and Derek (Kim) Young; a daughter-in-law, Mickey Rogers; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Joseph, Jena and Jacqueline Rogers and Dalton and Dallas Young; and a brother, Thomas (Susie) Young.
Military Honors will be held under the auspices of the U. S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard at 10 am on Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Riverlawn Cemetery Chapel.
