Madeline Martiny

Madeline L. Martiny, 59, of Port Huron Township died Monday, November 10, 2014.

She was born May 18, 1955 in Croswell, MI. She married William Martiny on December 6, 1975 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Martiny worked in the kitchen at Marwood Nursing and Rehab for 28 years. She was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan. She enjoyed spending time by the water, loved being with her grandchildren and keeping connected to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, William; son, Michael (Stephanie) Martiny, daughter, Tricia (John) Martiny-Grant; six grandchildren; sister, Mary (Scott) Parker; brothers, Robert (Anna) Jerlecki and Jerry (Nancy) Jerlecki; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Martiny; parents, Robert & Mary Jerlecki; sisters, Sharon Clark and Terry McNutt; and grandson, Austin Martiny.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Community Wesleyan Church, Marysville with visiting from 1:00 PM. Reverend Jack Martiny will officiate.
