Anne E Reuter

Anne E. Reuter, 80, of Ruby, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

She was born December 22, 1934 in New Baltimore to the late George and Elizabeth Schudlich. She married J Warren Reuter on April 12, 1956 in Richmond. He died July 1, 2009.

Mrs. Reuter and her husband opened Ruby Farms in 1956 selling Christmas trees. They later added a cider mill and other family friendly activities, such as a carousel, bakery, gift shop and petting zoo. She enjoyed working with the young people and instilling a good work ethic in them. They often returned to tell her how it helped them in their future careers. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by two children, Meredith Anne Reuter and Warren G. Reuter; a granddaughter, Lindsay Reuter; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 in First United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde Township.
