Margaret A Steinhaus
Margaret Ann Steinhaus, 73, of Marysville, died Saturday, September 12, 2015.
She was born March 10, 1942 in Croswell to the late John and Frances Jurzysta. She married Wayne Steinhaus on May 9, 1964 in Lakeport.
Mrs. Steinhaus was a proof reader for the Times Herald for many years. She also owned and operated Marge’s Adult Foster Care Home in Marysville. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was a member and Past President of the Marysville Booster Club. She loved Polish bands and her three dogs, Chester, Sunshine and Pockets.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; two children, Susan (Kevin) Costello and Brian (Candi) Steinhaus; daughter-in-law, Joni Steinhaus; seven grandchildren, Austin Whitelaw, Ethan and Bryan Costello, Brandon, Tyler, Hayden and Carson Steinhaus; two sisters, Betty Dudley and Chris Harvey; five brothers, Jack (Joan) Jurzysta, Rick (Peg) Jurzysta, Mike (Bev) Jurzysta, Tom (Janette) Jurzysta, and Bill (Andy) Jurzysta; brother-in-law, Bill (Tammy) Steinhaus; sister-in-law, Deb Steinhaus; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend of 40 plus years, Penny Bowman. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Steinhaus, her parents, John and Frances Jurzysta and in-laws, Donald and Margaret Steinhaus.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Council #9527 at 8 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Steinhaus will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. Father Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
