Mary P Johnston

Mary Patricia Johnston, 68, of St. Clair, died April 7, 2016.

She was born May 9, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Dryas and Irene Fields. She married James E. Johnston, Sr. August 7, 1965, in Port Huron.

Mrs. Johnston worked as a LPN with Macomb County prior to her retirement. She enjoyed working bingo at the Marysville American Legion, and was an avid scrap booker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James; four children, James (Kristina) Johnston, Jr., Joan Solgot, Jody (Jody) Johnston, Martha (Mike) Macauley; grandchildren, Kimberly (James) Hamilton, Ashley Solgot, Alicia (Jeff) Alexie, Jennafer Johnston, Austin (Sam) Johnston, Brandon Macauley, Sarah (David) Johnston-Aldrich, James (Shelby) Johnston III, Travis Solgot, Richard Johnston, Timothy Johnston, Melissa Johnston, Collin Macauley; great- grandchildren; Katelyn Hinojosa, Gage Hamilton, Emma Solgot, Lillyann Waycaster, Cayden Johnston; siblings, Beverly Krafft, Patrick (Marge) Essenmacher, Shelia Essenmacher, Richard (Barbara) Essenmacher; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Champers. She was proceeded in death by three brothers, Daniel, William and Terry Essenmacher.
