Holly J Wolfe

Holly Jennings Wolfe, 77, of Burtchville Township, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 18, 2016.

He was born September 5, 1938 in Sissonville, West Virginia. He married Peggy Ann Maynard on March 16, 1963 in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Mr. Wolfe served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed at the Budd Company in Detroit as a superintendent and most recently at the Times Herald, where he was employed for over 30 years as a master electrician, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed spending time at their home in Florida as well as in the Blue Water Area. He loved training and breeding dogs, hunting and horseback riding. He was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church and was a godly and compassionate man.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; three daughters, Ginger (Stephanie) Wolfe, Becky (Steve) Gilmore and Beth Ann (Jimi) Klein; grandchildren, Brandon Morden and Carli and Eliana Klein; brothers, Melvin (Daryl) Myers and Roy (Phyllis) Wolfe; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Rich.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Hillside Wesleyan Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Bill Kinnan will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspice U.S. Marine Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
