Donald W James

Donald William James, 77, of Port Huron, died Thursday, July 21, 2016 of complications of many illnesses.

He was born September 11, 1938 in Port Huron to the late George and Veronica “Vera” James.

Mr. James worked in retail for many years.

He is survived by four children; his sister, Barb Wisson; nieces and nephews, Debbie (Bruce) Alexander, LuAnne Carpenter, and Fred (Connie) Baker; a very special friend who was like a brother to him, Fred (Sandy) Kaufman; and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Lou (Fred) Baker, Linda Young, and Robert James; and brother-in-law, Richard J. Wisson.

Cremation has taken place and private graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
