Barbara A Geick

Barbara A. Geick, 83, of Marysville, died Monday, August 22, 2016.

She was born April 6, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Arthur and Eva Garner. She married Donald Geick on October 25, 1950 in Port Huron. He died April 29, 1998.

Mrs. Geick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, playing games, working on puzzles, reading, wintering in Arizona and spending time with her family.

She is survived by seven children, Julie Renno, Cynthia (Dale) George, Catherine (Herman) Cohrs, Susan (Patrick) Hunt, Paul (Patricia) Geick, Patricia (William) Chapman and Timothy Geick; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; a sister, Virginia (Donald) Tuthill; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson; three great grandsons; and three sisters, Carol VanBuskirk, Patricia Ailio and Constance Cooper.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert H. Mann will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeffrey and Keith Renno, Jeremiah Cohrs, Stephen and Corey Hunt, Matthew and Gregory Wood and David Geick.
