Dennis Richard Boley, 64, of Port Huron, died Saturday, December 3, 2016.
He was born on September 2, 1952 in Detroit, MI to the late Richard and Elvera L. Boley. He married Marjorie Wright on June 28, 1975 in Roseville. She preceded him in death on February 26, 2004. He then married Linda Sturdevant on January 28, 2006 in Memphis.
Mr. Boley was employed as a robotics technician at Chrysler Corporation. He also owned and operated Rising Star Karaoke.
He was a member of the Smiths Creek Masonic Lodge #491 F. & A.M. He volunteered at Community Enterprises (formerly the ARC), where he received the “Volunteer of the Year” award. He was a past member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #3702,
Dennis loved music, all animals, history and enjoyed going to the casino.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Boley; daughters, Laura Mongeau, Patricia (Christopher) Birchmeier, Tricia (Edmond) Delude, Jillian Sturdevant and Colleen Sturdevant; eight grandchildren, Emily Mongeau, Myles Thibodeau, Mitchell Mongeau, Hunter Thibodeau, Delani Thibodeau, Jake Thibodeau, Alex Delude and Ellie Delude; and two great-grandchildren, Weston Thibodeau and Savannah Thibodeau.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Lisa Clark will officiate.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Watertown Township, Michigan.
The family prefers donations be given to Community Enterprises, where Dennis had the honor of volunteering and playing music. He will be deeply missed by the clients and staff.
