Donald Brown
Elder Donald Eugene Brown, 63, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 17, 2016.
He was born November 23, 1953 in Port Huron to the late John Bankston and Rebecca Brown.
Elder Brown served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the Assistant Pastor at Bethlehem Temple Church. He sold insurance, encyclopedias and cars for many years and also owned and operated a home health care business.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Antoinette; three children, Kyra Brown, Krystal Brown and Kerissa Brown; two grandchildren, Avanna Coleman and Akila Brown; a sister, Peggy Noble; three brothers, Fred Brown, William (Cindy) Evans and Cedric Evans; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael, David, Kirk, Wanda and Terry.
A Victory Service and a viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Temple Church.
Elder Brown’s Home Going Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Bethlehem Temple Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Bishop Marvin D. Mitchell will officiate.
Burial will follow in Allied Veterans Cemetery. Military honors will be provided under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
