He was born January 7, 1965 in Port Huron to the late Glenn and Virginia Glyshaw.

Jeff was a 1983 graduate of Yale High School. He enlisted in the military right after high school, serving in the US Navy as his father and grandfather had. He sailed aboard the USS Saipan (LHA-2) out of Norfolk, VA, traveling to several overseas ports in England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Cuba, and also sailing above the Arctic Circle. Jeff was a Member and Past President of the Ruby Lions Club. He could always be found working at their Pancake Breakfasts and softball tournaments. He was a member of the FOE Aerie 3702, Port Huron. He worked as a machine maintenance technician in the plastics industry in the Port Huron and St. Clair area. He loved Tigers baseball, and Red Wings hockey.
