Leroy R Dimick
Leroy Russell Dimick, 83, of Marysville, died Thursday, April 13, 2017.
He was born March 13, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Guy and Elizabeth Dimick and was a lifelong area resident. He married Gloria Elnor Larson on September 11, 1954 in Forestville, Wisconsin. She died May 9, 2005.
Mr. Dimick was a tool and die maker and worked at several local companies, retiring from Global Tooling Systems in 1998. He was a longtime member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a boat scanner and loved spending time at the river watching the freighters.
He is survived by a daughter, Annette (Melvin) Anglebrandt; two sons, Timothy (Michelle) Dimick and Chris (Suzanne) Dimick; six grandchildren, Gary, James and Scott (Kristy) Anglebrandt; Anna (Andrew) Herrick, Heather (Jake) Kurtzman and Matt Dimick (Traci Brown); seven great grandchildren, Jade Nicolai, Adain, Brandon and Olivia Anglebrandt, Liliana and Levi Herrick and Abel Kurtzman; two brothers, James (Shirley) Dimick and Robert (Nora) Dimick; a sister-in-law, Lois Dimick; a brother-in-law, William Heim; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dennis MacRae; brother, Willard Dimick; and sister, Jean Heim.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The Reverend John Hitzeroth will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
