Kay Mathews

Kay Ann Mathews, 66, of Port Huron died Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

She was born June 8, 1951 in Port Huron to the late Clifford and Evelyn Weber. She married David M. Mathews on July 21, 1973 in Cook County, IL.

Kay was a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School Class of 1969. She was employed with Sears and Roebuck and retired in 2006. Kay was a member of the Blue Water Aerie #3702 FOE, and Eagle Riders, American Legion Charles Hammond Auxiliary Unit #8 and The Moose Lodge. She was a fantastic cook, enjoyed watching birds and cheering on her Detroit Tigers. She loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, David; children, Jason Mathews and Sara (Fred Pelc II) Mathews; grandsons, J.T. and Dalton Sargent; sisters, Elene (James) Rinker and Wendy (Lewis) Dove; brother-in-law, Ronald Zimmer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Zimmer.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
