After retiring, she and Howard travelled widely and divided their time between Marysville, Florida, and their cabin in the Upper Peninsula. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by four sons; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 2009.
