Mary Anspaugh

Mary Olive Anspaugh, 89, of Yale, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

She was born November 3, 1930 in Detroit to the late William and Elizabeth Furze. She married Dale Anspaugh on September 23, 1950 in Detroit. He died June 22, 2016.

With her husband, Dale, Mrs. Anspaugh owned and operated Yale Hobby Shop, the North Pole Ice Cream Shop, and the Anspaugh Standard Station. She enjoyed bingo, needlepoint, crocheting and bowling.

She is survived by two children, Michelle Huffman (Ray Lepien) and Ronald Anspaugh (Mindy Mallwitz); a daughter-in-law, Tricia Anspaugh; four grandchildren, Ryan (Alyssa) Huffman, Amy (Jon) Warren, Austin Anspaugh and Catherine LaRowe; six great grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Sam) Segal; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Yale United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Pastor Pat Robbins will officiate.
