Wallace A Day

Wallace Allen Day, 88, of St. Clair Township, died of natural causes Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

He was born September 8, 1932 in Detroit. He married Sally Ann Lapanowski on October 27, 1956 in Armada.

Wally worked as a salesman for Wonder Bread for over 30 years until his retirement in 1992. He was a graduate of Memphis High School and served in the U.S. Army. Wally was a social person who loved to talk to people. He loved sports, especially NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sally; three children, Mark (Kim) Day, Melissa Hartman, and Paul Day; four grandchildren, Heather (Lance) Campbell, Kristin (Ben) Pokriefka, Amanda Hartman, and Kelli (Josh) Simpson; seven great grandchildren; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Day.

Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
