Obituary

Gerald Wayne “Jerry” Turner, 79, of North Street, died Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

He was born September 22, 1941 in Yale, the oldest of five children born to the late Harold and Virginia Turner.

Jerry started working at an early age to help provide for his family by roofing and working at Wilson’s farm and London’s Dairy. He then worked as a machine operator at Mueller Brass for 40 years. Jerry took great pride in his four boys he had by the age of 23. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting rabbits, pheasants and especially deer. He was proud to teach his children how to hunt. He loved trips up north and keeping his grass cut on schedule. Jerry’s favorite saying was, “Life is what you make it.”

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen; their son, Kyle; his other children, David, Kevin and Brenda; several grandchildren; a brother, Robert; a sister, Cindy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel and Jerry Jr.; a sister, Linda; and a brother, Roger.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.

Private family services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Reverend David Reed will officiate. The livestream of the service can be viewed from Jerry’s obituary page on the funeral home website.

Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township.
