Ronald V Rabidue

December 8th, 1953 to July 23rd, 2024

Ronald Vernon Rabidue, 70, a lifelong resident of Clyde Township, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

He was born December 8, 1953 in Port Huron to the late Vernon O. and Ruth M. Rabidue. He married Carolyn A. Thompson on June 20, 2003 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2019.

Ron graduated from Port Huron Schools in 1972 and attended SC4 before starting his career at Wirtz Manufacturing. He eventually retired from GT Mold and Engineering. Ron ran the Rabidue Christmas Tree Farm for years and enjoyed riding around the property on his John Deere tractor. He attended Ross Bible Church and formerly Colonial Woods Missionary Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Geneva “Jenny” Garcia and Carlyn “Carly” (James) Rabidue-Jacobs; stepchildren, Becky (Tony) Rothery-Bianchi and Scott Thompson; grandchildren, Conner and Lauren Garcia; sister, Linda Rabidue; and many cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Lance Garcia.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 5-8 p.m. Monday in Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue, Marysville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in Marysville Funeral Home. Reverend David Friedkin and Reverend Steve Scott will officiate.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to Live Big and Loud, LLC which is an organization that brings Parkinson’s Disease Awareness to St. Clair County.
