Marcella D Prigmore

Marcella D. Prigmore, 86, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 27, 2025.

She was born March 4, 1938 in Mt. Hope, West Virginia to the late Elmore and Rachel Maxine Brooks.

Marcella enjoyed, cooking, baking, doing arts and crafts, gardening, going to thrift stores and being by the water fishing and watching the freighters.

She leaves to mourn her passing eight children, Henrietta (Gene) Henderson; Linda Perrivyn, Charles Prigmore, Marcus Prigmore, Antonio Prigmore, Leon (Nicole) Prigmore, Patricia Prigmore and Eric Prigmore; granddaughter, Megan Prigmore, who she raised since she was one year old; 13 other grandchildren, Tamesha Rogan, Corey Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Leon Prigmore Jr., Brittany Prigmore, Antonio Prigmore Jr., Christian Prigmore, DeShonda Dunaway, Christopher Prigmore, Marcella (Travis) Hill, Rafiki Dixon, Hamin Dixon and Myya Henderson; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Brooks and Doritha Wheeler; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, Joseph Prigmore; grandson, Joseph Prigmore; and brother, Willie Prichett.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Carl E. Miller Sr. will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
