Cletus Snellenberger

October 14th, 1936 to August 10th, 2025

Pastor Cletus R. Snellenberger, 88, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 10, 2025.

He was born October 14, 1936 in Clay City, Indiana to the late Revelle and Floy Snellenberger. He married Carol McWilliams on June 19, 1956 in Clay City, Indiana. Cletus started his working career with IBM where he was employed for 22 years. He then entered full-time ministry at Faith Gospel Tabernacle in Bad Axe, Michigan before going to Rhema Bible School in Tulsa, Oklahoma for further training. He and his wife, Carol, then returned to Port Huron in 1980 and pastored Life of Faith Fellowship Church in Port Huron from 1980 to 1990. After leaving Port Huron, he continued to serve the Lord in Ministry until 2023.

He is survived by his wife of just shy of 70 years, Carol; three children, Candis (Rusty) Lavender, Christopher (Angela) Snellenberger and Caremy (Sonya) Snellenberger; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Megan) Lavender, Nathan (Taylor) Lavender, Kyle (Aingley) Snellenberger, Cody Snellenberger, Jordan (Tim) Lynn, Isaiah Rivera and Gary (Camryn) Rivera; three great grandchildren, Esther Lynn, Peter Lynn and Judah Lavender; sister, Mazie; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends in the family of Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Dr. Tom Seppo will officiate.

Burial will be in Sink Cemetery, Clay City, Indiana on Monday.
