Edward R Bradley

March 29th, 1939 to January 20th, 2026

Edward R. Bradley, 86, of Goodells, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

He was born March 29, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Mary Carnahan and Clark Bradley. He married Marilyn J. Webb on April 30, 1960 in St. Clair and they were married for 60 years before she preceded him in death on July 25, 2020.

Ed started working at A&P as a teenager and went on to spend a long career in the grocery business. His final employer was Vinckier Foods in Wadhams where he served as Produce Manager. Even after his formal retirement, Ed continued working part-time until he was 83 because he loved his job and customers so much. In his free time, Ed enjoyed going to and listening to baseball games, gardening, and caring for his lawn and yard. More than anything, Ed loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, and especially enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts. He was a longtime member of Columbus Bible Church.

Ed is survived by five children, Kim (Brian) Haley, Kathy (Ron) Kincaid, Kris (Tom) Kessler, Kay (Bill) Kessler and Ed Bradley (Elizabeth Schulte); 14 grandchildren, Jay (Christi) Jahn, Adrene Jahn, Kristin Haley (Matt Herr), Kyle (Cassidy) Haley, Michelle Johnsick, Travis (Sheralyn) Kincaid, Lindsy Bolton, Devin Kessler (Taylor Beitel), Haylee Kessler (Scott Wenk), Billy Kessler, Jennifer Kessler McDowell, Kara Bradley, Jake Bradley, and Wyatt Bradley; 20 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Manley and Alice (Al) Hux; a sister-in-law, Juanita Brown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashlee Joy Jahn.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue, Marysville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026 in Columbus Bible Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor James Smith will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Bible Church or Blue Water Hospice.
