Charles F Jackson
Charles Frederick Jackson, 80, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, October 1, 2012.
He was born September 2, 1932 in Port Huron Township to the late Charles and Frieda Jackson. He married Beverly Simmons on June 14, 1952 in Port Huron.
Mr. Jackson was a self-employed carpenter and builder. He raised exotic birds and enjoyed bowling, golf, music and softball. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly; four sons, Charles (Dawn) Jackson, Larry (Laura Porter) Jackson, all of Port Huron, Michael (Michele) Jackson of Lawton, Oklahoma and Tim (Cherie) Jackson Goodells; three daughters, LouAnn (Rick) Grossi of Clyde, Bonnie Kibbe (Kevin Farr) of Port Huron and Cheryl (Robert) Burkett of Kimball; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Carole) Jackson and Dave (Sharon) Jackson, all of Fort Gratiot; two sisters, Marge Green & Andy of Kimball and Linda (Dale) Karr of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Reverend Paul Kruse will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Blue Water Hospice.
