Donna Prause

Donna Esther Prause, 87, of Port Huron, died Thursday, June 13, 2013.

She was born July 4, 1925 in Ravenna, Michigan to the late Owen and Pearl Young. She married Eugene Prause on June 9, 1948 in Ravenna. He died in 1995.

Mrs. Prause attended school in Ravenna and business college in Muskegon. She worked as an accountant in Muskegon for 30 years. She moved to Port Huron on 2004 to be near her family and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two children, Robert (Jacqueline) Prause of Fort Gratiot and Marcia (Ray) Byrd of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Eric, Kimberly and Lindsay Prause, and Amy, Donna Jean and Darek Judd; ten great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Young, and sister, Marva Pigors.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2013 in First United Methodist Church. The Reverend William Wright will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Muskegon.
