Obituary

Helen C. Tosch, 95, of Marysville, died Sunday, August 18, 2013.

She was born December 31, 1917 in Detroit to the late William and Elsie Gray. She married George Tosch on January 30, 1937. He died April 1, 1978.

Mrs. Tosch was a waitress at Richert’s Restaurant and the Elks Club for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and the Mary Martha Guild. She was a fan of John Wayne and enjoyed playing Euchre at the American Legion, crocheting and making beaded Christmas ornaments. Helen was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest passions in life were her family and the Word of God.

She is survived by a son, James (Pat) Tosch of Sun City, Arizona; five grandchildren, Kathy (Edgar) Fandrick, Brenda VanBuskirk, Ronda (Joseph) Burk, Eric Tosch and Sheri (Scott) Travis; 11 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and former daughter-in-law, Vonda Tosch. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and Robert Tosch.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Mark Madson will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.
