Neva Lee Lemon

Neva Lee Lemon, 66, of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011.

She was born April 30, 1945 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Agnes Wilson. She married Albert Lemon on March 24, 1962 in Detroit. He died February 4, 2004.

Mrs. Lemon was a cook at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for 30 years. She attended Port Huron Church of Christ and enjoyed going to casinos, playing computer games, gardening, crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by three sons, Cecil (Lupe) Lemon of Pontiac, Carl (Kathy) Lemon of Port Huron and David Lemon and fiancée Audrey Huskins of Madison Heights; two daughters, Valerie (Dave) Downey of Marysville and Teri (Jeff) Welsh of Port Huron; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Elsie (Jim) Currier of Lapeer; two brothers, Jesse (Margaret) Wilson and Ebb (Eva) Wilson, all of Kentucky; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Maggie.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 in Port Huron Church of Christ. Larry Brown of Port Huron Church of Christ will officiate.

Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Peck.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Foundation.
