Staff Sergeant Nathan L. Tinsley
Staff Sergeant Nathan L. Tinsley, 27, of Croswell, died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Schwedelbach, Germany of natural causes.
He was born June 27, 1987 in Port Huron. Nathan attended schools in Croswell and Eureka, California and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force following graduation. He served honorably at air bases in Wichita, Kansas, Korea, Afghanistan, Qatar and Ramstein, Germany.
Nathan is survived by his father and stepmother, David and Debbie Tinsley; his mother, Deborah Lewis; brothers, Richard (Nicolle) Tinsley and Staff Sergeant Jason Tinsley, USAF; a sister, Ashley Tinsley; grandparents, Richard and Evelyn Tinsley, Robert and Janet Sutphen and Fred Lewis; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 8, 2014 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church, 3240 Pine Grove Ave., Port Huron, with Pastor Phil Whetstone officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be Monday, January 5, 2014 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
