Michael J Daggett

Michael James Daggett, 54, of Fort Gratiot died Saturday, December 13, 2014.

He was born February 19, 1960 in Port Huron to Jim and Francile Daggett.

Mr. Daggett graduated from Marysville High School in 1978. He was employed with the Times Herald for over 30 years.

He was a long time member of Marysville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed participating in gun sports, hunting and watching hockey. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Justin Michael (Stephanie) Daggett; daughters, Jillian Elizabeth Sanchez, Janicelynn Marie Daggett and Jacquelyn Marion Daggett; grandchildren, Ralphy, Shielynn, and Quinton Sanchez, Eugene IV and Tyler Bourbonais, Nathaniel and Nadalynn Young, and Ellie Daggett; parents, Jim and Francile Daggett; sisters, Laura (Tim) O’Boyle and Lisa (Joe) Redford; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Marysville United Methodist Church. Reverend Barbara E. Welbaum will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
