John A Eschenberg

November 10th, 1948 to December 21st, 2014

John A. Eschenberg, 66, of Kimball Township, died Sunday, December 21, 2014.

He was born November 10, 1948 in Port Huron to the late Gordon and Addie Eschenberg.

Mr. Eschenberg was employed with West Side Auto Parts prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Ford car and truck enthusiast who enjoyed rebuilding cars from salvage parts. He loved riding his bike, antique cars, his dog, collecting antiques especially old radio’s and records and always had lots of friends.

He is survived by two children, John (Leah) Eschenberg and Gail (James) Kuehn; four grandchildren, Natalie and Mallory Eschenberg and Tanner and Parker Kuehn; two sisters, Mary (Larry) Schwark and Betty Shurkey; two brothers, Charles Eschenberg and Wayne Curtis; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Military honors will be conducted by the St. Clair County Allied Veterans and the U.S. Army.
