Stephen A Landschoot
Stephen Allen Landschoot, 62, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Florida.
He was born August 26, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Peter and Violet Landschoot. He married Donna Samson on December 15, 1972 in Port Huron.
Mr. Landschoot retired in September 2014 after 43 years in the automotive parts industry, working for Sport Rack Automotive and JAC Products. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed music and all sports and played handball at the YMCA and Birchwood Athletic Club. He and his wife, Donna, enjoyed camping throughout Michigan, Florida and Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons, Keith Landschoot of Chicago and Kevin (Miranda) Landschoot of Fort Gratiot; a daughter, Katherine Landschoot Langley of Arizona; three grandchildren, Abigail and Collin Landschoot of Fort Gratiot and Vincent Langley of Arizona; two brothers, Douglas (Terri) Landschoot and Paul (Lynn) Landschoot, all of Kimball; five sisters, Donna Landschoot of Port Huron, Joan (Ron) Kammer of St. Clair Township, Carol (Patrick) Hudson of Clyde, Ann (Norman) Bosman of Casco and Theresa Stevenson of Port Huron; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Landschoot of St. Clair; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Mr. Landschoot will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Rev. Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Kevin, Keith, Joe, Matt, Pete and Jason Landschoot.
