Christina Snyder

Mrs. Christina Snyder, 84, long-time Marysville resident, died Friday, April 22, 2016 in Blue Water Hospice Home with her daughters at her side.

She was born September 17, 1931 in West Virginia to the late Charles and Zelma (Powell) Gillespie. She married Russell Snyder Jr. on February 18, 1949 in Port Huron. He died February 13, 1995.

Mrs. Snyder was a self-employed hairdresser. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed dancing, bowling and golfing in her younger years.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Rogers of Chesterfield and Vickie (Lynn) Brandl of Fort Gratiot; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashley) Rogers, Christian (Jenny) Rogers, Shaunna (Jewan Reed) Brandl and Brooke Brandl; and eight great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and private family committal services will be held in Riverlawn Cemetery.
