George W Corrion

George W. Corrion, 85, of Avoca died January 12, 2021 in Blue Water Hospice Home after a short illness.

He was born January 7, 1936 in Detroit. He married Pamela Wisner on August 18, 2006 in Fairfield, California.

Mr. Corrion retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1971 after 30 years in Tool & Die. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed fishing and boating and was a talented woodcarver.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; a daughter, Terry (John) Owczarzak of Toledo, Ohio; two sons, Dean (Ginny) Corrion of Grosse Pointe and Jayme Corrion of Avoca; three step-daughters, Thereasa (Christopher) Moran and Melissa Fye, both of Port Huron Township and Crystal (Joe) Vollstaedt of Kimball; a step-son, Jay (Christy) Stineman of Vacaville, California; many grandchildren; two great grandsons, Leo Moran & Carson Schmidt; and two sisters, Gabrielle Dossin and Lorraine Goff. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Corrion.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, January 23 in County Park Bible Church, Goodells, with luncheon to follow. Pastor Steve Sovereen will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery in the spring.
